Apply to join Castle Sixth Form

We welcome applications from current Castle students and students attending other schools. Applications are managed through Applicaa.

Before applying, explore the Course Guide and check both the general and subject entry requirements. You can then select the subjects you are interested in studying. We will discuss your choices with you during the application process and help you consider alternatives where appropriate.

The application journey

  1. Explore Castle and Marlwood Post 16 Centre website. Read about our courses and visit us at our Post 16 Open Evening on Wednesday 11 November, 5:30–7:30pm.
  2. Apply through Applicaa. Castle students will receive instructions for accessing their account. Students from other schools will be given a route to create one.
  3. Discuss your choices. We may invite you to a guidance conversation about your subjects, entry requirements and future plans.
  4. Receive a conditional decision. We will explain any conditions attached to your offer and whether a requested course is still under review.
  5. Complete final enrolment. After GCSE results are released, we will confirm your programme against your grades and the courses available.

Our planning aim is to offer a Sixth Form place to applicants who meet the entry requirements and can follow a suitable programme. [Insert the school’s final admissions wording.]
