Help with the costs of education

We do not want the cost of taking part in Sixth Form to prevent an eligible student from accessing their education.

The 16–19 Bursary Fund can help eligible students with agreed education-related costs. Depending on individual circumstances and the current bursary policy, this may include essential equipment, books, specialist materials, transport or educational visits.

Applications are confidential. If you are unsure whether you might qualify, or you are concerned about the cost of something needed for your studies, speak to Mrs Hathaway or contact the Post-16 team. Please ask before deciding that you cannot obtain equipment or take part in an activity.
