Personal Effects, Including Jewellery and Cultural or Religious Adornment Procedures

At the Castle School we have a duty of care to ensure that all students are able to participate actively without unnecessarily endangering themselves and those around them. The following procedures have been advised by ‘The Association of Physical Education’,  who provide statutory national guidelines for schools to ensure the safety of all students across the country. With regards to the wearing of religious artefacts, we intend to respect religious and cultural sensitivities. We will endeavour to establish and maintain a safe, but inclusive school procedure.
