Castle Challenge is a project based programme which takes place on Wednesday afternoons for all year 7 students.
It is cross-curricular in nature and complements the Learning to Learn section of PSHCE/Learning for Life. Castle Challenge is assessed via a Skills Tracking grid and students are taught how to conduct independent research, take part positively in group work and to give effective presentations.
It is delivered by a dedicated team of Castle Challenge teachers.
Each project leads towards some celebration or competition with an emphasis on teamwork across tutor groups.
